What ages or grades do you tutor?

I tutor elementary through college grade levels. My students vary in age–kids through adults returning to school.

What kinds of math do you tutor?

I tutor elementary math, middle school math (pre-algebra), high school and college math (algebra, geometry, precalulus, trigonometry, SAT test prep).

Do you tutor over the summer?

Yes!

Will you come to my house for tutoring?

In order to make best use of my time and keep my rates affordable, I usually do not make house calls. Students come to my house or meet with me online.

If I do tutoring online, are there any special devices I will need?

You will need access to the internet via a laptop or tablet in order to access a collaborative whiteboard. I also recommend using a headset with a microphone if we use the audio feature on the online whiteboard.

Can you assess my child’s math level and abilities?

I do not administer assessments to evaluate a student’s abilities or deficit. However, after working with a student for a short period of time and/or viewing prior assessments (school test/quizzes), I am able to offer some advise on placement or remediation.
